Qualifications: Practice owner, Hannah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of NC and licensed NC School Counselor. She holds a Masters degree in Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University. 

Location: Oak and Sparrow Counseling is located in the beautiful downtown Mount Holly, NC. Clients have the option of in person sessions and/or virtual sessions. Virtual sessions are offered to clients across the state of North Carolina. 

Cost of Services: The full self pay rate of 55 minute sessions is $130. The full self pay rate of 40-45 minute sessions is $100. Sliding scale paying options are available and can be discussed with Hannah. The free phone consultation is a good time to discuss your budget with the counselor.

Payment: We accept payments through Check, Cash, Venmo, Credit Card, HSA, and FSA. Kindly be aware that we require a card on file for payment and/or to address any potential late cancellation fees.

Insurance: Oak and Sparrow Counseling is presently affiliated with United Healthcare and is actively pursuing paneling with BCBS. Should you desire reimbursement through an alternative health insurance provider, Oak and Sparrow Counseling can furnish clients with a comprehensive superbill for submission. Reimbursement amounts are contingent on out-of-network benefits. We advise contacting your insurance company to inquire about and discuss your out-of-network benefits.

Duration of Therapy: The duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. Hannah works collaboratively with clients to establish a personalized treatment plan, and the frequency and duration of sessions are determined together.

Emergency Procedures: If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, please contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room.

Cancellations and Rescheduling: We understand that life events may necessitate changes to scheduled appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any potential late cancellation fees.
